Fred Rayner is the President of Rayner Consulting Services Inc., an
international consulting practice providing advice to government and private companies around the world.
Following his graduation from the University of Alberta, Fred enjoyed a distinguished 26 year career with the Edmonton Police Service, rising through the ranks to become Chief of Police. In 2003, in recognition of his exemplary leadership and service, he was invested into the Order of Merit of the Police Forces by the Governor General of Canada.
With over thirty years of both public and private experience, Fred has served as Board Member, Chair Person, Chief, President, Director and Honorary Chair of numerous corporate, community and charitable organizations. He has lectured at the International Institute for Management Development - IMD Switzerland, the Rotman School of Business - Toronto and the University of Alberta.
Fred currently chairs REACH Edmonton - Council for Safe Communities, is a regular guest on CTV's popular "Alberta Primetime" television show where current topics relating to crime and safety are discussed and lectures in the Police Studies program at Grant MacEwan University.
